Our warranties protect you from the date you receive your product. All our warranties are product dependent, so please check your original invoice. All our Foam mattress are covered on a pro-rated basis. For example, a $1,000 mattress with a 10 year warranty that has been used for 5 years may mean you receive $500 towards a replacement mattress.
Zip covers are warrantied for 2 years, however shrinkage due to washing is not covered. Only wash flat fabric zip covers, let air dry and put on slightly damp to prevent shrinkage problems.
We warranty our foams for indentations or sagging greater than ¾ inch. All Foam, Latex, and Memory Foam break down and lose resiliency with use. Our warranty covers normal wear. If your foam mattress becomes very soft in certain spots during the warranty, Sleep Boutique will determine if there is a defect with the foam or whether it is normal wear. We can replace worn sections easily; however charges may apply.
Mattress fabrics are covered from normal wear defects for 5 years from the date of purchase. We also cover body indentations or sagging greater than ¾ inch.
To lengthen the life of your mattress, it should be flipped and rotated 4-8 times per year. The more often you flip, the better the longevity.

Queens, Doubles and Singles should have 6 legs, while Kings should have 8 legs. Wood Slat Foundations should have at least 5 slats with centre support in, at the minimum, the middle slat.

How much does a Sleep Boutique mattress cost?
Our prices are provided online with each mattress and accessory. find pricing under any mattress or accessory. We are very competitive and can generally build you a higher quality mattress for better value. We can do this because we design, manufacture, build, and sell directly to our customers. If you require a custom design or size, please call us, and we will be happy to provide you with the pricing.
Do I have to buy a box spring / foundation?
No, we do not force you to buy a foundation. However, we believe that you should have good, even support for your foundation. Many of our clients have good box springs, or platform beds, but just need a new mattress. As long as your foundation is good, it should not impact your mattress. Be sure to check to it is level, with no dips, and no soft spots. If your box spring is over 10 years old, we usually recommend purchasing a new one.
Do you ever have a mattress sale?
Generally we don’t hold sales. We try to deliver great products for good prices each and every day. Some retailers will have high prices one week, then drop them to half the next week, to make people feel they are getting a deal. Also, some retailers will push a particular manufacturer as they may get extra commission. Again we don’t believe this is good business, as someone may be pushed into purchasing the wrong mattress.
Do you have mattresses in stock?
Sometimes, but generally no. We can often do a foam mattress with one of our zip covers the same day. We consult with our customers to come up with the right combination to meet their needs, and then we build it. Our time frame is usually two weeks, but this can increase a little during our busier times.
What are your mattress sizes?
Standard sizes are indicated below, but we can customize to any size as needed.
- Single: 38″ x 75″
- Odd sizes:
- Double: 54″ x 75″
- Single XL: 38″ x 80″
- Queen: 60″ x 80″
- 3/4 Bed: 48″ x 75″
- King: 76″ x 80″
Do you make custom sized mattresses?
Yes, we can make a mattress any size or shape. We make specialty RV and Boler mattresses as well as Boat Mattresses. We can also make Round Beds and Extra Large mattresses.
Can I have different firmness’s on each side of my mattress?
Absolutely, we have many different models that have the ability to have dual sides in both Inner Spring, Foam and Latex Mattresses.
Do you build a 100% Organic or Natural Mattresses?
We have many options available. We carry organic cotton covers and we use springs, wool, cotton, and both Organic Dunlop Latex and Natural Vita Talalay. With these combinations, we can build all latex or spring and latex mattresses. Zippers and some thread construction will require synthetic materials. Please be careful when looking for an organic mattress, as not all companies are transparent about their materials. Do your research and work with reputable companies.
Once I order, how long does it take to make a mattress?
Typically, we will have your mattress built in one to two weeks. However if it is a special order, it could take up to three weeks. During our busy times it can take longer, but we do try to keep mattress orders under three weeks.
Is delivery included?
Yes and no. We contract out our deliveries like most companies and there is always a charge for this. Sometimes, we will price delivery into a purchase, but there is always a charge, and we choose to let you know up front. We provide mattress delivery and set-up within Western Canada. Our delivery company uses a two man crew, and will bring it right to your room for set up. Within the City of Calgary deliveries are $100. Delivery is included with some mattress models. For deliveries outside of Calgary, please call us for a quote. We now offer mattress re-cycling to our clients. The cost is $50 for a set and includes the removal, and all recycling fees.
Do you build a two sided mattress?
Yes, all are mattresses are made to flip or they are modular with replaceable components. We believe that you get a lot more out of a mattress that can be flipped and rotated. When you add in the modular, you have replaceable components and a mattress that can last a lifetime. All materials wear from the outside in, and having a mattress built on both sides or one with a replaceable topper will give you better durability, giving you better value. As an added plus, mattresses that last longer stay out of landfills.
Do you make a waterproof mattress?
We make a variety of vinyl covered mattresses, for camps, group homes, and individuals with special needs. The vinyl can be easily wiped as needed. We have a variety of vinyls available including polyurethane vinyls, which are softer and stretch more than PVC vinyls. We also carry Hospitality Vinyls such as SoffTICK which can be used for institutional mattresses as they have antimicrobial properties.
